BBE is the best EQ app by far for the iPhone! It combines the best of parametric EQs and Sonic Maximizers into one App! I am a Music Producer and if you want to hear Crystal Highs, Deep Bass and Huge Volume out of your iPhone headphones.... Then this is the app to get!!! Ive tried many apps to get better sound, but this is the only one that really delivers! As a recording musician who knows audio, I cant say if there is a learning curve on how to use it? But, you can just start tweeting the knobs until you like what you hear! MacMusician

Great app the improve the way youll listen music. It would be even better if they add more presets like for a car stero system. Overall excellent app

Just loaded the update... Sounds as awesome as every! I like that it the app now displays all of my library and notes which tunes have the old DRM. Looks like I will be upgrading a lot of tunes tonight! The BBE Pro is unbelievable! I am telling everyone musician I know about this long needed music player. The sound is amazing. I heard sounds from some of my favorite songs that I did not even know were on the record. Like full instrument parts!!!! I first plugged in my Bose headphones, then I did the bluetooth thing in my car (that was cool)... and when I saw the preset for docks I tried the dock thing too. It made the $59 speaker dock on my kitchen counter sound like a million bucks! It was awesome to be able to have a custom sound setting for my headphone, then my car and the little radio dock we have. I like the fact that I coud adjust the controls for my car separate from the preset in the app for my headphones. After playing around with the controls (real easy to use, love the green slider) I found that I could even adjust each of the presets. I listen to music a lot, as a musician and music fan. I have tried a few other so called sound apps I found on the App store.... but none of them compare to the BBE Pro. Congrats to the dudes at BBE for a job well done... Just downloaded the latest update. Nice tweaks to the overall performance. I immediately noticed it loads faster... An honestly that wasnt an issue with the previous version. 5-stars again... A must buy!!! I have been in a SonicMaxPro groove... The sonic quality still amazes me... 6 stars for making music most enjoyable!

The sound has always been top notch. It restores the depth and warmth that has always been missing from MP files. The new version solves all the navigation issues. Sounds great and simple to use. This is simply the best $5 I have ever spent on an app.

I wanted a app that would clarify my music in a classic car with a moderately priced amp and speakers. SonicMax Pro did that and more. I love the approach of this app… the heavy lifting is behind the scenes allowing the listener to concentrate on the minor tweaks and adjustments.

Yes, for the recent music recognized by the app, the EQ is very nice. But 90% of my library is missing. That makes the app only useful for easily finding and listening to my recent purchases. This is one of two apps with this strange limitation. Its not clear its due to DRM.

The SonicMax Pro is like washing the mud off your new car it cleans and shines with clarity and detail. For the price. Its worth it

I just updated this morining and as I was waiting to go to work and also when I was listening in the car the app just stops working. Also thanks for updating it,the new look of the nobs!!!!

Love this app but after the Feb 11 2015 update, its crashing quite frequently.

Latest update is crashing all the time and sending loud pops to my headphones as well. Looks great but stability has really suffered. Old review below: Great app that really enhances the music but the "Cellular Data for SonicMax Pro is turned off" message is driving me crazy. There is no reason for this app to use cellular data so please update the app to stop notifying me about it.

Its a great app when it works. The update rendered the program unusable.

This app used to be great before the latest update. Now when a song plays, many times it stops in the middle of the song. The app closes and you have to reopen the app to start playing again but it plays the next song not the one that stopped. Hope the developer gets it fixed.

This version is alway crash on iPhone4S.

Love this player and hope the fix the problem because I cant find a better player. The new look is awesome.

I originally had a glowing review of this app. After the latest update it continually crashes mid-track. Please fix this.

The recent update is bad, It cuts of 3 seconds of the introduction and 3 seconds from the ending. Aside from the all of the sudden crash in the middle of a song. I hope the developers fix the glitches. iPhone 5 16gb running iOS 8.1.3 /// I have been using this app for over 1 year. The preset sound samples are perfect. provides clarity and definition to your music. You can actually hear lows defined and highs. BBE maximizer is my "preamp". It gives music life, in the best possible way much like a hi fidelity tube amplifier. Great buy.

Update was buggy cause crashing issues did a home button and power button reboot fixed problem. Great sounds used BBE for many years.

After the new update, the app crashes mid song, and while accessing other apps. If this gets fixed, it would return to being a 5 star app.

Ive used this app for over 2 years with no problems, and have been telling everyone within earshot about it, but the new update has made the app very buggy, especially with dropping out while it is running in the background. Can we go back to the earlier version of the app? It was basically perfect - dont mess with a good thing, BBE!
